Cars and Canines Rally Cross Series Rules
- Helmets required (DOT, SNELL, FIA, or SFI)
- No damage to the A and B pillars
- Max height of 79”
- Vehicle must be wider than it is tall. Width measurement is taken at the tires, not the mirrors or any other point.
- Car must have windows, window nets, or hand restraints. Windows can be run with a maximum 2” gap.
- Convertibles must have a non-retractable roll bars
- All loose items must be removed (including floor mats)
- Tires – no cracks, must have tread across the entire width of the tire
- Seat belts must work as designed.
- Seat backs must lock in place.
- No free play in wheels or steering
- Battery must be tightly secured
- No motorcycles or ATVs, or Side X Sides
- No leaking fluids
- No alcohol on site

Points System Explained
You must race half of the events to qualify for season points.
- For each race, there are 3 classes: FWD, RWD, and 4/AWD.
- In each class:
1st place = 5 points
2nd place = 4 points
3rd place = 3 points
- Remainder of field in said class receives 1 point for showing up.
- Placement is awarded by accumulated adjusted time divided by 6 to give your 6 lap average.
- If a car does not complete all 6 laps, remaining laps will be driver's slowest time + 10 seconds.
- DNF is same rule as not starting a lap i.e. said drivers slowest time + 10 seconds.

08:00 - Paddock Open for Registration and Setup
09:00 - Drivers' Meeting
09:30 - Points Race
11:30 - Time Attack
